The Old Bell Clock Tower in Isesaki City

The old Bell Clock Tower, a cultural property of Isesaki City (Gunma Prefecture) that used to be a symbol of the area. It was completed in 1916 with the donations of Keisuke Kobayashi II, who ran an apothecary shop in Yokohama. It is the oldest reinforced concrete building in Gunma Prefecture. The red brick walls, the renaissance-style windows and the domed roof give a romantic atmosphere of Taisho era (1912-1926).
