One of Japan’s oldest shopping streets, Nakamise-dori, decorated with flags for the National Foundation Day (建国記念の日, Kenkoku Kinen no Hi), a public holiday on 11 February, celebrating the foundation of Japan. Nakamise-dori leads from the Kaminarimon Gate to the Hozomon Gate of Tokyo’s oldest temple, Sensoji.
