A symbol of Ebina City, the Seven-Story Pagoda Monument was erected in 1992 in Ebina Central Park by the Ebina City Tourism Association to commemorate the city’s 20th anniversary. The monument is built at one-third scale of the original seven-story pagoda of Sagami Kokubunji Temple from the Nara period, based on a reconstruction plan by architect Dr Minoru Ohoka.
