Half of the Pokémon-themed manhole covers (known as Poké Lids) installed in the Tokyo area are located in Serigaya Park in Machida, western Tokyo. The reason so many are found there is that Satoshi Tajiri, the creator of Pokémon, grew up in this city.

Serigaya Park is just a 9-minute walk from Machida Station, which is about 40 minutes from Shinjuku Station on the Odakyu Odawara Line.
