
The Saint Luke’s Tower (聖路加タワー) is one of the most recognizable buildings along the Sumida River. It is 221 meters high and has 51 floors. Together with a smaller skyscraper, the St. Luke’s Residences, 146 meters high (38 floors) next to it, forms the St. Luke’s Garden (聖路加ガーデン). The construction of the buildings was completed in 1994.
Saint Luke’s Tower is an office tower (Japanese video game developer Nintendo Cube headquarters is here). Also there is a sky restaurant on the 47th floor.
The residential building hosts a nursary care, amedical facilities, restaurants, shops, services and a luxury hotel.
The two scyscrapers are connected to each other by a 24m-long bridge, designed to withstand earthquakes and high winds.


St. Luke’s Garden is an 8-minute walk from Tsukiji Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line.
