Soshigaya-Okura Station (祖師ヶ谷大蔵駅) is the 13th stop on the Odakyu Odawara Line by Odakyu Electric Railway, located 10.6 km west of Shinjuku, in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo.
The station is best known for its connection to Ultraman, the iconic Japanese superhero, which, as you can see in the photos, is immediately noticeable as soon as you get off the station. Tsuburaya Productions—the company behind the Japanese tokusatsu science fiction series, created by special effects director Eiji Tsuburaya—had its headquarters in the area from 1964 to 2005. Although the company has since relocated, the neighborhood still honors its legacy.
The station opened on 1 April 1927.
