Nagoya Castle and Shachihoko figures on the cover of a fire hydrant in Nagoya. Shachihoko is a sea monster with the head of a tiger and the body of a large fish and is often found on the roofs of Japanese castle towers and other buildings because it was believed it protected them from fire.
