As we walked around Odawara with its castle as our final destination, we saw several manhole covers with popular themes. Near the station are five manhole covers themed to the MF Ghost (ゴースト) manga series by Shuichi Shigeno. The manga is a sequel to Initial D, and is also focused on the Japanese street racing scene. MF Ghost was also adapted into an anime and first aired on Japanese television in 2023 and continues this year.
