Landmark of Nagoya City, the 180-meter-high Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER, formerly known as the Nagoya TV Tower, is located in Hisaya Odori Park in Sakae, Naka ward. It was opened in 1954 and it is the first consolidated radio tower built in Japan.
