The equestrian statue of Nitta Yoshisada (新田 義貞, 1301-1338) outside the Bubaigawara Station in Fuchu city, Tokyo. Yoshisada was a great military commmander, head of the Nitta clan in the early 14th century. He was one of the key figures of the Kamakura Shogunate overthrow and the Kenmu Restoration by Emperor Go-Daigo.
