The bronze statue of Captain Levi or Levi Ackerman (リヴァイ・アッカーマン) from Attack on Titan in front of JR Hita Station in Hita city, Oita Prefecture. The creator of the popular manga series, Hajime Isayama (諫山 創), was born in Hita in 1986 and statues of the main characters from the series have been placed around the city in his honor. The statues were produced through crowdfunding campaigns backed by many “Attack on Titan” fans.
