Kites and manga in Kasukabe city

Kasukabe city in Saitama Prefecture is home of the Giant Kite Festival which is held annualy on May 3 and 5 along the banks of Edo River. Kasukabe is also famous for “Crayon Shin-Chan” manga and anime which is set in the city.
