Seijo Catholic Church

Walking towards the Toho Studios and just 3 minutes after we got off at the Seijogakuen-mae Station (Odakyu Line) station, we saw a small church on our way.

The Seijo Catholic Church is dedicated to St. Thaddeus. It was established in 1953, as a branch of the Kitami Church in a Japanese-style house in Seijo. The current cathedral, designed by architect and professor at Waseda University Kenji Imai, was completed in March 1955.
